ABOUT

The four movements of The Piper at the Gates of Dawn recreates a journey through the night to the breaking of dawn as magically captured in a chapter from Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows. This score is dedicated to Roy Howat who premiered all four movements during the work’s evolution covering a fourteen year span.
