ABOUT
Explorer Goes East is a set of four piano duets inspired by China, Mongolia, Cambodia and Indonesia. Each duet is a blend of eastern and western musical elements:
- Kangding Love Song
- Kampuchea Song
- Gamelan
- Mongolian Horsemen
This is the second book by Wendy Hiscocks in her popular and critically-acclaimed Explorer series for adventurous pianists.
Having grown up in Australia, it is only natural that Asia should be part of my consciousness. This has been reinforced over many years by friends and colleagues I have met from this part of the world.
