A Dance for David

ABOUT
Commissioned by Helen Kasztelan, a Melbourne pianist and teacher of Latvian ancestry, who requested a piano duet that she could eventually play with her baby son. Use of Latvian folksong was part her request and the duet is written with a more virtuoso prima part for an adult performer and a simpler seconda part for a child to play.
