Hiscocks’ 2010 performance of her piano solo originally called Jill in the Box accompanies the British Film Institute release of the first ever film made of Alice in Wonderland in 1903. Only eight minutes of footage survive, but the BFI Youtube posting coincided with the new Tim Burton film on the same subject, and by November 2020 had been viewed over two and a half million times”
