Seraphim Trio triumph in UK performances
The Seraphim Trio performed to delighted audiences in both the Cotswolds and Oxford as part of their UK/European tour and Celebrating Australian Music’s 2025 programme.
“CAM was delighted to work on two concerts with the acclaimed Adelaide-based Seraphim Trio during their UK/European tour in February 2025,” said Wendy Hiscocks, CAM founder.
“They brought with them not only a passion for the music they performed, but a wealth of specially commissioned works for the Trio by Australian composers Elizabeth Younan, Elena Kats-Chernin, Andrea Keller and Calvin Bowman, as well as my own Coral Fantasy.
“Those who attended their Oxford and Stow concerts quickly became friends and admirers, and we look forward to their return visit,” she added.
After a full programme at St. Michael & All Angels in Oxford, the trio performed a one hour programme the next day at St. Edward’s Church Stow-on-the-Wold with Haydn and Ravel classics alongside Coral Fantasy by Wendy Hiscocks.

Comments from the audience included: “…the Australian music was inspirational” and “We had a phenomenal response to the concert”.
